What actually fits a truck window, a laptop, a bumper or a storefront — plus a dead-simple way to measure.

Size questions, answered

What size decal for a car or truck rear window?
Most rear-window strips run 20–30" wide. A centered logo or name usually looks best at 12–18". Measure the glass and leave a couple inches of margin on each side.
What size decal for a laptop?
3"–5" is the laptop sweet spot. A 3" die-cut sits nicely in a corner; 5–6" makes a centered statement on a 15" lid.
What size for a bumper sticker?
Classic bumper stickers are about 3" x 10" or 4" x 11". For a die-cut shape, 6–8" wide reads well from a car length back.
What size for a storefront window or door?
Business hours / logo decals are typically 10–16" wide; a full window graphic can span 24"+ . Measure the glass and mind any frame overlap.
How do I measure the space?
Tape a rectangle of painter's tape where the decal will go, step back, and adjust until it looks right. Measure that rectangle's width and height — order to the smaller dimension so nothing gets cropped.
